The 1MI type special-purpose inverter module is designed for use in power supplies, power drive devices, on-board equipment complexes of special-purpose electronic equipment, developed and modernized samples of military equipment, as a power amplifier.
When a control signal is sent from the control system, the module performs the following functions:
- formation of internal supply and reference voltages;
- generation of current pulses in the windings of the motor (transformer) in accordance with the control signals;
- protection against simultaneous switching on of transistors of each half-bridge;
- thermal control of power transistors and overheating protection;
- control of the current of the lower keys of the inverter;
- maximum permissible current protection and short circuit protection in the load;
- output of the "Error" signal when the maximum permissible current value is exceeded, when the load is short-circuited, when the control signal is simultaneously applied to the half-bridge transistors and when overheating;
- monitoring of the internal supply voltage, issuing and removing the "Ready" signal.
