The thyristor driver with current control in the thyristor control circuit is designed to control powerful power thyristors with currents of 320...5000 A.

Functions:

- Formation of an afterburner pulse with a steepness of the control current increase and temporary characteristics that meet the requirements of switching on powerful thyristors for currents up to 5000 A.

- Formation of a long-term positive maintenance control current following the afterburner pulse.

- The ability to control standard high-power thyristors (250 Hz).
